Cookie Policy

This is a translation of the Hungarian original for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.
What does this notice cover?
This notice describes which cookies and similar technologies (e.g. local storage, advertising pixels, software development kits) are used by the CalmReserve platform and the booking pages running on it, for what purpose, and how you can manage your consent. The Cookie Policy is part of the Privacy Policy; details of personal data processing can be found there.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some of them are needed for the website to work; others serve statistical or marketing purposes — exclusively with your consent.
Which categories do we use?

How do we ask for your consent?
When you first open the site, a cookie banner appears where you can choose between three options: Accept all, Reject optional, or Customise. Under Customise you can decide separately per category (Analytics, Marketing, Preferences); strictly necessary cookies are always active.
We use Google Consent Mode v2 to manage consent. This means that by default — until you give your consent — all non-essential storage and measurement is in a denied state:
- analytics_storage = denied (statistics)
- ad_storage = denied, ad_user_data = denied, ad_personalization = denied (advertising)
Only if you give consent for the relevant category do we switch the corresponding signals to granted — from that point on we measure and store cookies.
On calmreserve.com’s own pages (marketing site, registration) the Google tag (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads) loads before your decision, but exclusively in the denied default state: it does NOT place a cookie in your browser and does not send an identifier about you. In this case Google receives at most a redacted, cookieless signal about the page view (to estimate the effectiveness of our ads) — this is Google’s “consent mode advanced” solution. The code of every other provider, and Google’s tags on salons’ booking pages, load only after your consent.
Which third-party providers may we use?
Depending on your consent — and on what the given salon or the platform has switched on — we may use the cookies and technologies of the following types of provider. The list is general: it may grow or shrink from time to time without this notice being amended each time.
- Google services — for example Google Analytics 4 (analytics), Google Ads conversion tracking (marketing), Google Tag Manager (tag management) and Google Consent Mode v2.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) services — for example the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (marketing, conversion measurement).
- TikTok — TikTok Pixel (marketing, conversion measurement).
- LinkedIn — LinkedIn Insight Tag (marketing, conversion measurement).
- Microsoft — for example Microsoft Clarity (analytics, usage statistics).
- Other analytics and advertising providers that we may introduce in the future, under the same categories and consent principles.
These providers may act as independent controllers or as processors under their own terms and privacy policies. Without your consent their code does not load and we do not measure with them — the only exception is the Google tag described above on calmreserve.com’s own pages, which runs without cookies or identifiers, in the denied default state.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of the providers above (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft) may also process data outside the European Union, typically in the United States. Where this occurs, the transfer takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time — it is just as easy as giving it. Open the cookie settings from the link at the bottom of the page, or delete your browser’s cookies and local storage. Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
